Fireball's Seamless Image Processing (SIP) is a new capability designed to process extremely large datasets. Many of the sensors we
build and work with can gather tens of thousands of individual frames per flight.
It is virtually impossible to digest such datasets with classical photogrammetric techniques. SIP allows the work to be efficiently distributed over large clusters of computers, bringing
recent advances in High Performance Computing (HPC) to bear on all aspects of image processing, ortho-rectification and image mosaicking.
